21/05/08 - People make more mess than pigeons
EDITOR - My partner and I were appalled to read that District Councillor Adam Duguid said he would deal with the pigeons under the railway bridges with a shotgun when someone, somewhere in the world is killed every minute due to gun crime.
If one letter gets so much fire in his belly over pigeon mess, he cannot have much work to do.
I do not think he should be in office if all he has to worry about is innocent birds. I say leave them alone, people make much more mess.
He should put all his aggression to help sort out bad drains, bad pavements etc in and around the town.
I do not know who Adam Duguid is and I never want to, but I would like to say to him 'Keep your shotguns to yourself. And what has happened to good old fashioned soapy water?'
