09/01/08 - Hunting is just barbaric

EDITOR - I would like to express my thoughts on hunting. I think it is a barbaric sport and there is no excuse for people who support it.

They claim, of course, that it is to keep down the number of foxes, when in truth it is just purely for their enjoyment.

I can not fathom how people could enjoy watching hounds savagely tear an animal apart, whether that animal is a menace or not.

There are too many people in the world but would the supporters of hunting agree to hunt humans?

Hunting can also be dangerous for the hounds, who often rush out into the road.
