STAFF at Market Rasen and Caistor libraries have taken up the baton to help people use the internet.
One hour sessions of basic guidance were given at both centres.
Two of the people being helped to get online at Market Rasen were Richard Sheardown and Rosemary Davies. Both are absolute beginners when it comes to computers and were looking forward to getting on the internet and to use email.
For Rosemary, with family abroad, she could see the benefit of using technology to keep in touch.
“I have a computer at home now and am looking forward to being able to use it properly,” she said.
The Lincolnshire County Council led initiative is in partnership with Race Online, whose ambition it is to make the UK the first nation in the world where everyone can use the web.
