East Midlands in Bloom judges Chris Beal and Alan Fletcher will be visiting Caistor on Monday, July 8, at 2pm to cast their eyes over the town for the Large Village category.
They will be walking from the Multi Use Centre through the Market Place to South Street Park via Bobs Lane.
They will then visit the Police station, where a limo from Swish Cars will take them to judge last year’s Gold award winners Sealord.
On their return, there will be a quick stop at Nettleton Road bus shelter, before judging Best Front Garden at Hope House, Horse Market.
The judges will then continue on foot to Westbrook Grove Pond, via Fountain Street, up through the church and on to Caistor Grammar School, the Methodist Church, North Kelsey Road bank and along Brigg Road and up North Street to the Town Hall Car Park.
The finale will be judging of the White Hart, where the judges will meet all friends of Caistor in Bloom and those whom they met along the route for a longer chat.
