Enjoying a cuppa with friends has brewed up £304 for St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice.

The coffee morning was
organised by Nettleton Methodist Church, an annual event held by members to support a local charitable cause.

“We choose a different charity each year and although we have supported the hospice before, it was unanimous at our last meeting that we supported them again,” said Pam Bradley, pictured above, second right, with fellow members Jean Field, Lesley Alderson, Brian Field and (seated) Lucienne Dobbs.

Also pictured is Hospice representative for Lincolnshire ZaZa Warren, who went along to collect the cheque.

“Events like these are great,” said ZaZa.

“It costs more than £3.5million a year to run the hospice and we rely almost entirely on fundraising and donations.

“Groups like this are just fantastic, they are our bread and butter - or should I say our coffee and cake!”
