Visitors to Middle Rasen were in horticultural heaven as the 71st annual village produce show took place.

Organised by Middle Rasen and District Horticultural Society, the show was again held in the grounds of the Nags and grateful thanks were given to Jenny and Barry Reeves for their hospitality.

Society president Joyce Rhodes also thanked all the exhibitors and helpers for their support in producing such an excellent show, as well as those who sponsored the show including West Lindsey and Middle Rasen 
Councils.

Presenting the trophies was Pam Vessey of Burgh-le-Marsh, whose family has been with the show for many year, and she congratulated everyone on their achievements.

The Banksian Medal, awarded by the RHS, was presented for the first time this year for Horticultural Classes only and was won by Philip Hildred.
