Holiday club ready to take off

A holiday club is ready to launch with a mission to rescue the school break for children in the Market Rasen area.

This year’s holiday club, organised again by Market Rasen New Life Church, has an outer space theme to it and takes off at Market Rasen Primary School on Monday August 12.

Rhona Sheppard, Youth Development Worker for
New Life, said: “We’re
excited about launching this year’s holiday club for
60 children with its space theme.

“There will be plenty
of scope for outdoor
action and games in the
‘outer space’ of the school
field and a great kool
krafts area inside mission control.”

The club is open to
anyone aged between five
and 11 years old and runs
from Monday August 12 to Friday August 16, 11am to 12.30pm.

Prizes, music and
free refreshments will
feature daily.

Parents can leave their children at this
fully supervised event, but there is also an on site ‘Boosters’ cafe area and
small play area for any parents or younger children who would like to
chat and relax while their children get on with the action-packed activities for the holiday journey of a lifetime.

The club is run by the New Life Church’s crew of teenage and adult DBS checked volunteers
