Loneliness can happen even when you live within the largest of families or the busiest of towns.
And this can be especially true if you have some form of disability or do not go out to work.
Now, a new informal friendship group has been set up in Market Rasen to help address this issue.
Opening Doors is a drop in group which meets at The Hub in Union Street on Friday mornings from 10.30am to 12 noon.
As well as helping people feel they can make friends, Opening Doors is also somewhere to talk about any issues you may have - in complete confidence - share experiences and find out where help is available.
A warm welcome is assured, along with a warm drink.
For more information drop into The Hub, call them on 01673 844556, email firstname.lastname@example.org

The Hub is also hosting a new arts and crafts therapy group - Inspire! -to help people cope with anxiety, depression and other mental health problems.
Open to anyone over the age of 18, the group meets on Tuesday afternoons and offers friendship and support.
