This year’s harvest celebration was in support of two charities – St Andrew’s Hospice and Anthony Nolan.

The Friends of Binbrook School organised a produce sale and tombola, with proceeds helping to buy a brick in the hospice’s recent building campaign.

Julie Cook, centre, from the Lincoln Friends of Anthony Nolan, visited the school to collect the money from Friends chairman Ali Blakeley, left, and headteacher Sue Beveridge.

“What a great amount for a small school to raise – thank you,” said Julie.
