Room on a Broom was the setting for the Halloween activities in Caistor Library.

The children made Room on the Broom broomsticks, the cat, the dog, the frog and the bird, edible witches’ hats as well as skeleton and pumpkin lanterns.

And showing it is never too early to go to the library, five-month-old Alexandria Shardlow-Hudson was the youngest child at the event.

“Caistor was the last of the four libraries, where more than a 100 children joined in the activities,” said Site Co-ordinator Karen Waring.

“Great fun has been had by everyone.”
