Two year 11 students from The Vale Academy at Brigg have won this year’s Scunthorpe Area Rotary Technology
Challenge by achieving something usually taught at a
higher level.

Calum Law and Emily Coleman faced a challenging task but their hard work was paid off.

The competition task was taken from the A-Level Electronics specification and the students had to write a set of programmes in Assembler (machine code) to control a paired set of traffic lights and a seven segment display.
