Members and friends of All Saints Church in Wragby have filled more than 50 shoeboxes with Christmas gifts to send to some of the poorest children in Eastern Europe.

Each year parishioners fill the boxes with toys, books, pens and small household items to be sent to children who otherwise would not receive anything at Christmas.

The national appeal is organised by the Samaritan’s Purse. Pictured from left is Margaret Jones, Brenda Bodily, Janice Bones, Fred Robinson, Dorothy Warr, Margaret Robinson and Jayne Wiltowski with her five-year-old son Zenon.
