MORE than £2,350 was raised in just four hours at a weekend fundraiser in Wragby.
A Fun Day in aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) and Wragby Surgery took place at the town hall on Saturday.
It was organised by the family of teenager Dan Reeves, who narrowly survived a cardiac arrest in December, 2010, prior to being diagnosed with a heart condition.
Wragby Surgery was chosen as one of the beneficiaries because two nurses from there were instrumental in saving Dan’s life, using a defibrillator to restart his heart before the emergency services arrived.
A penalty shoot-out and tug of war were some of the activities organised on the day.
