Take a ‘Walk in the Park’ this weekend and help raise money for three good causes.
The family fun day will be held at Welton’s William Farr School this Saturday, July 18, from 10am to 10pm, and there is a great line up of live music, displays, fairground rides, inflatables, games and more.
The famous Dakota will be making a flypast and the Air Ambulance will once again be landing, subject to operational needs, allowing visitors to have a good look around the ambucopter.
More than 200 participants will be facing the challenge, taking turns on the track over the 12 hours, so go along and show your support.
There are some weird and wonderful themed laps so be prepared to see families, friends, work colleagues and local school staff as you’ve never seen them before.
The event will close with a firework display at around 9.45pm.
All proceeds from this year’s Walk in the Park will be divided equally between Cancer Research UK, Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice.
