Lincolnshire police have revealed a female pensioner has been the victim of an alleged distraction theft in Market Rasen.

According to police, a male - with a Polish accent and pronounced ears - asked the victim to change a £2 coin.

While the victim was looking in her purse, the male became ‘verbally forceful’, distracting the victim enough for him to allegedly take £80 from her purse without her noticing.
