Thorpe Camp throws open doors at night

The centre is taking part in the ‘Museum at Night’ celebration on May 14 - along with hundreds of other museums, galleries and heritage sites across Britain and Europe.

It is a chance for people to discover new exhibitions, see special presentations and engage in a wide range of activities.

Thorpe Camp will be presenting an evening lecture called ‘Flames in the Night’ about Zeppelin raids over Lincolnshire during World War One.

The illustrated lecture by aviation historians Cliff Clover and Mike Hodgson starts at 7pm while the centre will be open from 6-10pm. Tickets £5) can be obtained from 01526 342249 or the centre’s website www.thorpecamp.org.
