Market Rasen Schoolmasters team, pictured above, featured on the pages of the Market Rasen Mail in 1978 having won through to the semi-final of the Market Rasen Mail Cup.
They narrowly beat the Nickersons side, by just five runs.
The Schoolmasters batted first and reached a total of 79 for six wickets from their 20 over allocation.
John Boulton was the top scorer on 34 runs, with Phil Chapman chipping in 15 runs.
