STAFF at Tesco set out their stall to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society, this year’s nominated charity.

And customers gave their overwhelming support helping to raise more than £700 for the cause.

The store’s community champion Jenny Stimson thanked everyone for their support.

“It was fantastic,” she said.

“I would like to thank everyone for their contribution - the staff for baking cakes, providing goods to sell and raffle, as well as the traders in the town for freely giving items for the stall, we couldn’t have done it without you.”
