FIND out how to encourage wildlife in your village at free workshops this spring.
Community Lincs, working in partnership with Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Lincolnshire Biodiversity, is holding a two-hour training session in Binbrook Village Hall next month to encourage people to learn how to create an environment to attract wildlife into their communities.
The workshops will include the general principles of managing community spaces with wildlife in mind, providing homes for birds, butterflies and more, and looking at case studies of villages that have made a difference for wildlife and for people.
The workshop is open to anyone and organisers hope the free session could help obtain better results in the 50th anniversary of the Best Kept Villages and Small Towns Competition 2012.
The Binbrook session will take place on Friday, March 23, from 2pm to 4pm.
Other sessions will be held at Ancaster Parish Hall, Donington Ruby Hunt Centre and Spilsby Franklin Hall.
To book your place at any of the workshops, email email@example.com or call 01529 301971.
