Members of the public have been invited to the official opening of Welton Pre-School’s new sensory
garden.

The school was awarded a grant to help fund the garden, which aims to promote children’s outdoor
learning.

And the youngsters, all aged just two to four, have even been involved in the project themselves.

They children have helped to make a mosaic and a music wall.

The music wall was created from all kinds of general household items that make noise.

The mosaic is made from items such as coins, shells and pebbles (from special holidays) and the children’s old
cutlery.

The event takes place at the pre-school in the grounds of William Farr Comprehensive School in Lincoln Road on Friday, July 17.

It will be officially opened to the public at 3pm.
