PUPILS at Keelby Primary School were delighted when they were given the chance to hold a genuine Olympic Torch.
Disabled table tennis players Colin Woodford and Leanne Stephen – who carried the Torch in Skegness – have been visiting schools around the area to promote Olympic values and create a positive image of disabled people.
Leanne, who has competed in the Commonwealth Games, said: “We’re just normal people, who happen to use wheelchairs – it’s good to get children to realise that at a young age.”
