Children in Class 3 at Middle Rasen Primary School have been focusing on their own county for this term’s topic.
And what better to represent a taste of Lincolnshire than to serve plum bread at a tea-time event.
As part of their enterprise project, the children had to decide what to serve and how much to charge and then design invitations to go out to parents and grandparents.
They then had to help make the food, as well as producing custom-made placemats and plates.
“It has been fun,” said Millie Perry, who invited grandma Kath to the event. “I helped make the plum bread.” As did Ella Pammenter, also pictured with her mum Dawn and dad Phil.
