Author Sarah Hammond paid a visit to De Aston

Members of the newly established book club at De Aston School have been getting some top tips for writing from visiting author Sarah Hammond.

“The idea behind the book club was that it would be a fun place where students could read new books, share recommendations and basically cultivate their love of reading,” said English teacher Libby Humphrey, who founded the club.

The night sky in my head by Sarah Hammond is the group’s first book.
