Children at Legsby School dressed in red to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

And they also did some red baking - making heart cookies and cherry scones, pies and buns to sell after school, with an honesty box for donations.

“Our lessons have also been based around learning more about the charity and also about our heart and how to look after it,” said headteacher David Miskell.

And the young bakers were delighted to raise £85 for the charity, which helps fight heart disease and fund research.
