Students from Caistor Yarborough Academy visited Keelby Primary School to launch a new online magazine called “The Triangle”, which is based around the British Council’s ‘Connecting Classrooms,’ where UK schools work with schools in other countries to establish strong links.

The informative magazine will showcase the school’s partnership school in Bangladesh, what the school day entails and will also draw comparisons on things the school may take for granted, such as technology and amenities.

The CYA students worked with the Keelby pupils to discuss what they would like to see in the magazine. They also visited classrooms and interviewed different age groups for more feedback on what should be featured.

Research was live as the day went on and pupils were able to jot down what different lessons were taught and how the school day panned out.

Students got together at the end to discuss how the magazine should look when it is released and how often it is updated.

Welton Primary school will also be involved in the launch of “The Triangle” which will be in the next few months.
