A new £246,000 classroom and cloakroom to provide extra school places has been officially opened at Hibaldstow Academy.
A decision was taken to make the school bigger to meet growing demand for places - and work started on the project back in April.
The new classroom and cloakroom, which are linked to the existing school, will cater for 30 additional pupils.
North Lincolnshire Council children’s services cabinet member Coun David Rose said: “The new look school is bigger and means it can cater for 30 more pupils to help meet demand for more school places in the Hibaldstow area.
“It is part of a programme of work to improve our schools and academies, giving pupils a fantastic learning environment.”
The official opening of the new look Hibaldstow Academy took place on Wednesday, October 14.
The work was funded by North Lincolnshire Council.
