To mark the Queen’s 90th birthday, Wrawby Pre-School and Wrawby Primary School Year 1 pupils gathered to watch Charlotte Taylor and Owen Hardy assist the Wrawby Parish Council chairman, Coun Ian Smith plant a commemorative tree.

Grateful for their help Coun Smith said: “The tree will be a suitable lasting tribute to a lady who has served as our Queen for 64 years and who has reached the grand age of 90.”

After the planting the children waved their Union flags and gave three cheers for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
