Gifted and Talented students, plus guests, at De Aston School have been displaying their creative flair by using decoupage to decorate spring planters.

The abstract art technique took a range of guises, including food, colour and floral themes.

Gifted and Talented Co-ordinator, Barbara Hulme, said: “The spring planters have been a great success, with a great deal of originality, creativity and thoughtfulness evident.”

The planters were judged and £5 vouchers awarded to Georgia Stevenson and Jessica Harding-Hubbard.
