Children and staff at Market Rasen Primary School marked the retirement of the Rev Michael Cartwright with a celebratory collective worship.

Harriers Class and teacher Sue Thompson composed a song for the occasion, which the whole school performed, and former headteachers, John Sandfield and Paul Thompson, reflected on memorable moments the Rev Cartwright had brought to both the school and to them personally.

Thank you gifts were presented, plus a much sought after Golden Jumper for excellent singing.
