A full day of sports at Market Rasen Primary School saw the youngsters battle it out for their house teams.

In the morning it was the turn of the younger pupils and Holland came out on top with 108 points, just in front of Kestevan on 103 points.

In the afternoon, the older children had it all to play for, but it was Axholme who took the glory, with 84 points. Lindsey came second with 74.

And when the scores were totalled, with the addition of things such as extra throwing activities, the final results showed Kestevan were the champions, with 202 points.

In second was Holland with 182.

Then came Axholme with 171 and Lindsey with 158.
