More than 100 pupils from secondary school across Lincolnshire descended on Market Rasen’s De Aston School for a fun-filled day of maths.

The event - aimed at gifted and talented pupils in years 10 and 11 - saw students take part in various sessions throughout the day.

They discovered how maths relates to all kinds of things in every day life - even juggling.

Workshops included ‘a bit, a crumb, a nybble and a byte’ and ‘dating, deceiving and defence strategy: it’s all just a game’.
