Year seven students at Caistor Grammar School abandoned their usual lessons to spend a day looking at how to stay healthy.

School catering manager Amanda Gould’s home-cooked
delights were enjoyed and some brave students even took up the challenge of eating raw ginger and chillies.

During the event, sessions looked at issues surrounding emotional wellbeing and the right to feel safe, as well as talk by PCSO Neil Harrison about drugs, including the law and the dangers.

Being active was also highlighted as being important, so the afternoon saw a trip to Playzone in Lincoln.
