Ofsted inspectors have revisited two of the area’s schools which had been given ‘requires improvement’ ratings.
Caistor Yarborough Academy and Middle Rasen Primary School both received the low rating after inspections in February and December, respectively.
Inspectors said Caistor Yarborough Academy has since taken a number of actions to bring about improvement in pupils’ behaviour, work and attendance.
A report stated: “A new behaviour policy has been introduced, with both consequences and rewards.”
Ofsted inspectors visiting Middle Rasen Primary School worked with senior leaders to work out a plan for improvement.
The report stated: “We agreed that accelerating the pace and progress of pupils’ learning in lessons is key.”
An action plan has been drawn up and steps have already been taken to tackle areas that need to be improved.
