As part of Caistor Yarborough Academy’s Health and Well-being Day programme students took a 15-mile walk through the local countryside.

Local farmers and the Yarborough Estate granted permission to follow paths not usually open to the public, for which the Academy was very grateful.

As it was a very hot day, there was plenty of water along the way, with fruit and healthy snacks provided, thanks to a team of students, on their return.

“We were delighted to have the support of some families for all or part of the walk and their support at the road crossings,” said Jenny Rogers, Deputy Headteacher.
