Science is going to be a lot more fun at Market Rasen Primary School, now they can get up close to the subject.

De Aston headteacher Ellenor Beighton went along to the school to present them with some microscopes, surplus to requirement at the secondary school.

“It was a natural place for the equipment to go and help budding scientists of the future,” said Mrs Beighton.

“It is always easier pushing against an open door of enthusiasm and passion when they come to us.”

And support staff governor Caroline Matthews was delighted to receive the donation. “We are always appreciative of donations, especially ones that inspire,” she said.
