Uniform was abandoned at Legsby Primary School as the children and staff exerted their ‘right to look wrong’.
Sports kit, pyjamas and psychedelic leggings clearly proved to popular choices, as our picture shows.
But it was, of course, all in a good cause.
It was part of Wrong Trousers Day, which raises money for the Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Foundation.
Everyone paid a pound to wear their wacky outfits for the day and the money, through the charity, will be used to help sick children in hospitals and hospices throughout the UK.
“It’s been good fun, with some crazy outfits, but all for a worthwhile charity,” said teacher Ben Murray.
