Creating links with schools in countries such as France, Australia, The Gambia and El Salvador has led to Keelby Primary School receiving a British Council International plaque.

“These partnerships have facilitated the sharing of best practice and the development of new skills,” said Helen White, International Co-ordinator.

“Global themes have been embedded across the curriculum and working towards our accreditation has given pupil and teachers a new perspective on the world and the skills to work in a global economy.”

From September, the school begins a Connecting Classroom project with a school in Bangladesh.
