Pupils at primary schools in the Market Rasen area will have a safer trip to class thanks to a donation by the town’s Lions club.

Youngsters at Legsby, Market Rasen, Middle Rasen, Osgodby and Tealby Primary Schools have benefited from the club’s purchase of almost 600 high visibility waistcoats, designed to make the children more visible now the mornings and evenings are dark.

Children at Market Rasen Primary School are pictured receiving their new waistcoats from Lion John Fox, alongside headteacher Andrew Smith and Chair of Governing Body Tony Parkinson.
