Students at Caistor Yarborough School were able to put their French into practice with the visit of the Onatti Theatre.

The production of Les Filles was performed in French, using language the students had learned, together with actions, mime, gestures and energy to help the students along.

The play focuses around a teenage boy Nicholas - in trouble at school and unlucky in love - and was performed by two native French actors, with the audience quickly getting involved.

“After watching this play I have gained a lot of confidence to chat to people in French,” said Year 9 pupil Jade Davey, after the performance, “and I have also learned how to pronounce a lot of new words.” (Lin)
