Four budding authors are going to see their stories in print after winning a
Superhero story competition.
Iola Gillick, Edward Parrish, Ben Larder and Poppy Parker will see the finished result when the book is published in September.
“It has been really fun, but it was difficult to keep to the 250 words,” said Iola, whose story is called Battle of Freedom.
It is the first time the school has taken part in a competition of this kind.
“All the children did extremely well,” said head teacher David Miskell.
“It is all part of a real push we are having on writing and they have come on hugely.”
