Caistor’s Whitegate House Kindergarten celebrated 30 successful years with a birthday party.

“It is hard to believe that so much time has passed and that we have been privileged to ‘inspire’ so many children and their families,” said proprietor Angela Lawrence.

“We are so very proud of our achievements.”

The Earthbound Misfits entertained throughout with their juggling, clowning about, fun and fire tricks.

And the children at the puppet workshop made animals friendly and fierce for their own show.

While all this was happening, the local Fire Crew and their engine gave lots of opportunity for the children to check out the appliance and ‘drive’ the engine and most of the adults spent a long time looking through the many photo albums on display, spotting their children when they attended the Kindergarten.

And throughout the afternoon, everyone was fuelled by a fabulous selection of cakes, with a special celebratory cake being cut by Angela, accompanied by her loyal staff.

“It was really wonderful to see so many friends, children and families having a great afternoon with lots of fun and laughter; just what Whitegate House Kindergarten is all about,” added Angela.

“Many thanks to all who came and made the afternoon such a tremendous success.”
