Young chessmasters at Osgodby Primary School have been showing they know a thing or two when it comes to checking out the game.
Nine pupils attended a chess final at Fosseway Primary School in Lincoln recently.
They all played extremely well and four of the children won through to the grand final, which will be held in Manchester in July.
Jackson Quigley won the under-seven trophy, with May Smith winning the under-nine section.
