Caistor Yarborough Academy invited pupils from a number of primary schools to go along and experience life at the Academy.

Sixty pupils took up the invitation and spent the day taking part in a wide variety of activities which had been arranged for them.

In the Food Technology Room, Miss Gamble taught the students how to cook some delicious Spanish Tapas.

The tantalising smell spread around the school and once the cooking was done, the students enjoyed sampling the different dishes that had been created.

In art, the students created some wonderful marble pictures, using oil, ink and a giant paddling pool.

There was also the chance to try out some Spanish themed music and drama activities.
