Caistor Grammar School students in years seven to nine exceeded their target to raise money for St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice by more than £500.

Through a series of mini Christmas fetes involving stalls, games and competitions, a cake sale and by sending class rather than individual Christmas cards, the students raised an impressive £750 and had a great deal of fun into the bargain.

The money was presented to hospice representative Kelly Uprichard during a school assembly.
