Two eight-year-olds from Osgodby Primary School have shown they have what it takes when it comes to playing chess.

Harry Moore and Ruby Hill qualified through county-wide events to be part of the Lincolnshire Chess Team.

And they represented the county at the Midlands Chess Championships, which took place at Nottingham High School earlier this month.

Ruby was the youngest member of the U11 girls team and played well securing a win and two draws in her games to help her team to third place.

Harry, who was seven at the time, played in the U9 event to help the team finish in sixth place.
