De Aston pupils who received certificates in the UKMT challenge EMN-140422-142710001

A number of students at De Aston School have recently achieved high scores in the UKMT (United Kingdom Mathematics Trust) Intermediate maths Challenge.

The challenge is aimed at the top third of pupils in Year 11 nationally and seven Year 11 students, together with two Year 10 students at De Aston received certificates.

The top 40 percent of students nationally receive a gold, silver or bronze certificate.

And year 11 twins Calvin and Kieron Chow also qualified for the follow-up ‘Pink Kangaroo’ round.
