“This has been yet another fabulous year for CYA,” said delighted headteacher Jeremy Newnham as this year’s GCSE results were announced.

And these showed 100 percent of students had achieved five or more A*-G grades, with 88 percent five or more A*-C grades and 58 percent 5 or more A*- C including English and Maths.

Science results were described as ‘outstanding’ with 93 percent of students gaining two or more A*-C qualifications.

“I congratulate the staff and students who have worked so hard and their successes are well deserved,” added Mr Newnham.

“Caistor Yarborough continues to go from strength to strength and I am so pleased that our achievements have been rewarded. “In July we invited Ofsted inspectors into our school. They saw outstanding teaching and stated that; ‘… students are immersed in their learning and relationships are excellent.”’

And Chair of Governors Tony Maund added his congratulations.

“I am delighted for our students and pay tribute to the work of our staff,” he said.

“I invite anyone in the community to come and visit us, at any time, to see our wonderful school in action.”
