An open invitation to De Aston’s feeder school resulted in a week of fun for a group of year five pupils.
The Summer School saw the youngsters enjoy a range of activities, both in the classroom and further afield.
A visit to RAF Scampton included a tour of the heritage centre and the chance to take part in team building activities.
Another day out was to the newly refurbished Lincoln Castle and there was time too for enjoying plenty of sporting activities with Hurricane Sports, including blind football.
“They are a great bunch of kids and they have really enjoyed this busy week,” said Neil Huddlestone who led the summer school.
