PUPILS and staff gathered at De Aston School’s memorial for a minute’s silence at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month.

Bugler Bradley Hanson sounded the Last Post and a wreath was laid.

The Rev Robson, pictured with wreath layer Cameron Marshall, concluded the short Act of Remembrance with a prayer remembering ‘those of the school who gave their lives in the past and those who are serving this day.’
