Children at Osgodby School raised money for Jeans for Genes and Denim for Diabetes at their charity morning.

Children at Osgodby School have been doing their bit for charity.

Last week, the youngsters held their annual Jeans for Genes and Denim for Diabetes fundraising event.

As well as being allowed to wears jeans to school, everyone took along coins to place on a range of denim items - and hopefully cover them completely.

Pictured above are the children from Class 1, who were the first group to take part and get the pennies rolling.

And this fundraising morning proved to be another success for the keen charity supporters, raising £111.42, which will be split between the two charities.
